Welcome to MIDAS Education Consulting LLC, referred to as MIDAS, we, our, or us.

These Terms and Conditions outline how we work together through our website and consulting services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you have any questions, we encourage you to reach out. Transparency and clarity are important to us.

MIDAS is an independent educational consulting firm. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any university, college, or testing organization.

02 Who We Work With

Our website is intended for individuals 13 years of age and older.

Students under 18 must work with MIDAS alongside a parent or legal guardian.

By engaging our services, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into an agreement.

03 Our Role

MIDAS provides strategic educational guidance and mentorship. Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Academic and career planning
  • University shortlisting
  • Application strategy
  • Essay brainstorming and editorial feedback
  • Resume guidance
  • Interview preparation
  • Ongoing mentorship

We provide guidance, structure, and strategic insight. All final submissions must reflect the student's original voice and work.

04 A Note on Outcomes

Admissions decisions are made solely by educational institutions.

While we are deeply committed to supporting each student with care and rigor, we cannot guarantee admission to any institution, scholarship awards, financial aid outcomes, test scores, internship placements, or visa approvals.

We believe in preparation, positioning, and thoughtful storytelling. Outcomes ultimately depend on multiple factors beyond our control.

05 Fees & Payment

Service fees and scope of services are detailed in a formal Statement of Work provided prior to engagement.

Payment is required prior to the start of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Fees are tied to a specific applicant and application cycle. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable once services begin.

Third-party costs, including application fees, testing fees, courier fees, or partner services, are the responsibility of the applicant.

If any billing questions arise, we are happy to clarify.

06 Scheduling & Communication

MIDAS operates on a flexible schedule tailored to student timelines and application cycles, including evenings and weekends as needed.

We aim to respond to messages within 24 business hours.

Meeting policy: We request 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If a session is missed without notice, the consultant will wait for 10 minutes before concluding the meeting.

Application deadlines: To protect quality and reduce stress, internal review deadlines are typically 7 to 10 days before submission. Materials submitted within 7 days of a deadline may not be eligible for review. Holiday periods may affect availability. Our goal is thoughtful, not rushed, work.

07 Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best experience, clients agree to:

  • Submit original work
  • Avoid plagiarism or misrepresentation
  • Provide materials on time
  • Communicate regularly
  • Review feedback carefully and ask questions when needed
  • Maintain respectful and professional communication

MIDAS is not responsible for delays caused by late submissions or lack of communication. We will always strive to support proactively.

08 Intellectual Property

All website content, materials, frameworks, and methodologies remain the intellectual property of MIDAS Education Consulting LLC.

Clients may use materials solely for personal, non-commercial purposes related to their application process.

Sharing, distributing, or reproducing proprietary materials is not permitted.

09 Confidentiality

Client confidentiality is extremely important to us.

We do not share client materials outside MIDAS without written consent.

Testimonials or promotional use of student work will only occur with explicit permission.

10 Technology

We may use tools such as Google Drive, Google Meet, Teams, and secure file sharing platforms.

Each student is provided with a personalized folder containing all relevant application materials, drafts, and documents.

Clients are responsible for maintaining reliable internet access. MIDAS is not responsible for technology disruptions beyond our control.

11 Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to third-party resources. MIDAS is not responsible for the content or policies of external websites.

12 Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MIDAS will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

In any event, liability will be limited to the total amount paid for services rendered.

13 Professional Conduct

We expect all interactions to reflect mutual respect.

Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward staff may result in termination of services.

14 Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services indicates acceptance of any updates.

15 Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided by MIDAS, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter in good faith through informal discussion.

If the matter cannot be resolved through discussion, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in the State of Illinois, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Each party shall bear its own legal fees and costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
